Student Nurses Association (SNA)
SNA is a non political organisation of students. Each student is supposed to be a member of SNA on admission itself and is expected to abide by the norms and policies of SNA.
✓ To help students uphold the dignity and ideals of the nursing profession.
✓ To help student nurses understand how professional organizations serve the nursing profession.
✓ To promote close rapport with other student nurses.
✓ To furnish student nurses with advice during the course of study.
✓ To encourage leadership ability and wider knowledge of nursing profession.
✓ To increase social contact and general knowledge for personal and professional development.
✓ To encourage professional and recreational meetings, games and courses.
✓ To encourage students to attend national and regional conferences.
